I took over Casa Tessino in 2017 in a terrible condition. The reconstruction lasted four years and was only possible thanks to the help of numerous friends and hard-working helpers. My central concern with the project was to create a place that tries to live in harmony with nature and strictly fossil-free. I would describe the radical ecological philosophy behind the conversion as "high-low": on the one hand, the house has the highest level of comfort (linen bedding and self-closing drawers), but on the other hand, this comfort also has to be earned (cooking on wood and using a compost toilet). When you live in Casa Tessino you are all alone surrounded by magical, wild and romantic nature and deers and foxes might walk through the garden at dusk.

The house has up to six sleeping places on a total of 90 m2. It is located at an altitude of 550 meters and is about ten minutes walk from the little village of Loco. Things are kept pretty simple. There is a washing machine. WLAN is not installed, but there is a solid telephone network.
